Carolina is passionate about social entrepreneurship and sustainable development. Her skills include a deep understanding of her environment and people, the importance of identifying solutions, and the empowerment of communities and people. She has ten years of experience as a Space Designer and specializes in architectural lighting design. She is an expert in the processes of conceptualization, formulation, evaluation, development, and specification of social projects & academic events.

Some of her achievements include founding EnFoco between 2009 and 2012, a lighting design studio for the realization of residential, educational projects (Parks libraries), sports venues, restaurants, hospitals, electrical substations, shopping centers. In 2012, She participated in the Ithaca project- the 1st urban lighting project for the city of Medellín. From 2012- 2016, she was lighting designer in a marketing company of lighting products.
