Currently serving as the Country General Manager at G4S Secure Solutions Tanzania Ltd, Imelda is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the G4S Tanzania business entities. Her strategic acumen is evident in her ability to formulate and successfully implement policies and long-term strategies, driving organic growth, efficiency, stakeholder engagement, statutory compliance, and sustainable business profitability.

With a robust background in human resources, Imelda has held pivotal roles in renowned organizations, including Head of Human Resources at G4S Secure Solutions Tanzania Limited, where she led a team of 12 HR practitioners and over 3000 employees. Her senior management role involved dual reporting to the Managing Director and Regional HR Director – Africa, where she spearheaded the development and execution of the Africa regional human resources agenda.

Imelda’s professional journey also includes significant contributions as Human Resources Manager at DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING TANZANIA and Key Accounts Manager at SEACOM TANZANIA LTD, where she played integral roles in driving business growth and fostering client relationships.

Furthermore, Imelda’s commitment to continuous learning is evident in her educational achievements, including an MBA in Corporate Management from Chuo Kikuu Mzumbe and a BSc in Food Science and Technology from Sokoine University.
