Natalie Paida Jabangwe is our Zimbabwe Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) AFRICA! With a remarkable career trajectory marked by impactful roles and significant achievements, Natalie brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our mission.

Currently serving as a Board Member at Wesgro, Natalie exemplifies dynamic leadership and strategic vision. Her role involves contributing to the development and promotion of economic opportunities in the Western Cape region. Prior to this, Natalie held the prestigious position of Group Digital Executive Officer at Sanlam, where she spearheaded digital transformation initiatives across diverse markets, including Africa, India, and Malaysia.

Natalie’s journey in leadership began at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, where she served as the Chief Executive Officer of EcoCash Zimbabwe, overseeing a customer base of over 6 million and leading the ecosystem that contributed significantly to Zimbabwe’s GDP. Her achievements include substantial growth in subscribers and transaction volumes, as well as expanding into new markets and launching innovative products.

With a solid foundation in technology and finance, Natalie’s career also includes pivotal roles at NCR Corporation, where she played a key role in developing mobile financial services and forging strategic partnerships. Her expertise in deploying financial solutions for global banking institutions underscores her commitment to driving innovation and growth.

Natalie holds an Executive MBA from Imperial College London, specializing in Hi-Tech Strategy, Corporate Turnaround, and Brand Management. She also earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oxford, where she was awarded the prestigious Tutu Fellowship.
