As the former Group Managing Director of Shamandu TMT, a full-service marketing media consultancy and digital business firm, Nola catalyzed media platforms through technology to connect corporate clients with their targeted audiences across Africa, facilitating business growth and brand advancement.
Prior to her role at Shamandu TMT, Nola served as the Group Head of Corporate Communications for Africa Business News, encompassing CNBC Africa and Forbes Africa brands. In this capacity, she acted as the spokesperson, overseeing communication and stakeholder relation strategies across the continent. Nola’s mandate was to ensure the Group’s mission was well-understood by various stakeholders, thereby presenting a balanced view of Africa to the world.
Nola’s expertise extends further as she previously held the position of Head of Marketing for CNBC and Forbes Africa, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility and market presence.
With a solid foundation in brand marketing strategy development and implementation, Nola contributed significantly to the success of Moloko Investment Group and Ogilvy & Mather South Africa, where she served in key marketing roles.
Nola’s academic journey is marked by excellence, including an OBAMA Washington Fellowship in Leadership, Business & Entrepreneurship from Clark Atlanta University, and a Bachelor of Social Science in Consumer Psychology from the University of Cape Town.
