As the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of wCap Limited, a pioneering Venture Capital firm headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia, Nyeji has been instrumental in bridging the funding gap for female-led SMEs across Southern Africa. Committed to fostering inclusive economic development, wCap is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zambia. Nyeji’s role involves investor relations, deal origination and structuring, transaction advisory, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Nyeji is also a Global Member of 100 Women in Finance, where she strengthens the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential. Through education, peer engagement, and impact, she advocates for a new generation of industry leadership, promoting gender equality and diversity in finance.
Furthermore, as a Non-Executive Director and Board Member of LendMePay Zambia Limited, Nyeji has contributed to the advancement of financial inclusion through innovative fintech solutions. Licensed by the Central Bank of Zambia, LendMePay specializes in microlending and payments processing, leveraging big data and machine learning to serve millions of mobile subscribers.
Her extensive experience also includes serving as a Regional Director for THE ALPHA GROUP INTERNATIONAL, where she facilitated peer-to-peer executive board exchanges and provided support to entrepreneurs in Zambia.
Prior to her current roles, Nyeji served as Director & Lead Consultant at Chase Resources Limited, a boutique advisory firm offering bespoke capital raising and advisory services for international trade businesses in Southern Africa.
Nyeji holds a Master of Science in Development Finance from the University of Reading and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Namibia.
